# Amisterra

*It's been 20 years since I left this dark, disturbingly silent planet. I had been exploring it for decades — now I can't even tell if it was real.*\
*— From the memoirs of Tobias Waytorn, a geologist*

### **Nature**

Amisterra, the most distant planet of the Airel system, was immersed in eternal night. The only natural light came from Nirth, the planet's solitary moon.

From plains with no trace of life to early rocks towering above valleys of fluorescent flowers — the landscapes of Amisterra gave chills to any stranger.

The main treasure of the planet was arcons, gemstones hidden in the deepest depths.

### Population

Almost every child on Amisterra knew: once they grow up, they would mine arcons. These precious stones were crafted into fine jewelry pieces, magnificent objects of desire.

Armies from all over the galaxy tried to conquer the planet just to get control over the mines. The Amisterrians managed to defend themselves, but no outsiders were welcome here anymore; those who dared to come paid with their lives.

### Rulers

The secret Order of Risenhem reigned over the planet. Its members gathered at the Solitude Castle to handle matters of politics, trade, and, most importantly, mining. From time to time they sent trusted scholars to different planets to find spell books, magical artifacts, and scientific inventions — anything that could strengthen the Order's power.

### Folklore

"If you see a fog, get away" — this warning has been passed down through generations.
